Edoardo Bruschi
Chairman
Hi everyone, I'm Edoardo Bruschi! I'm 21 years old and currently in my second year of Economics and Business Economics at RUG. I joined GIT at the very beginning of my first year and fell in love with it almost immediately.
What makes GIT special, in my view, is that it's one of the very few places where students don't just study finance — they actually do it. You're not reading about portfolio construction in a textbook; you're making real allocation decisions, defending them in front of your peers, and living with the consequences. That combination of autonomy, responsibility, and genuine stakes is something I haven't found anywhere else at university, and it's what keeps me motivated to give back to the team.
As Chairman, I'm responsible for the overall direction, structure, and continuity of the organization. My role focuses on making sure GIT stays a professional, well-organized, and ambitious platform where students can grow — both academically and practically — in finance and investing. I coordinate the board and investment teams, oversee long-term strategy, and serve as a point of contact for our external partners and sponsors.
