Hi everyone! I’m Georgiana, and I’m originally from Bucharest, Romania. I am a Msc Finance Student at RUG, and this year I am in charge of Internal Relations at the Groningen Investment Team.
I joined GIT last year during my Pre-Master and I immediately fell in love with everything GIT represents. At a crossroads between theory and practice, you learn hands-on about the financial markets and investment decisions. Not only does GIT provide you with plenty of professional and academic opportunities, but each meeting is in itself a social where you get to connect and learn from your peers.
As Internal Relations Officer, I manage the promotion, recruitment and onboarding processes. I am the first point of contact for prospective members, guiding them through the entire process. I am also the chair of Team Gamma, our entry-level analyst team. If you’re interested in joining GIT, you are always free to reach out to me!
When I am not at GIT, you can find me outside with friends, at the gym, reading a good book or gaming.
