Hereby a message from Gamma’s Chairman:
Gamma's mission is to introduce students to the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the world of investing. Whether you’re curious about stocks, bonds, or mutual funds, our team provides a supportive environment to learn and grow. Through company presentations, meeting lectures, and hands-on research projects, you’ll gain practical experience and insights into financial markets. No substantial prior knowledge is required—just a willingness to learn and explore. Join us to build a strong foundation in investing, make informed financial decisions, and connect with like-minded peers passionate about securing their financial future.
A typical evening at Gamma consists of the following:
- A macro update, which is done to provide insights about the macroeconomic trends and events that happened in the last month
- Followed by a portfolio update benchmarked to the world indexes
- Then there is an update on our individual stocks in the portfolio performed by team control and the relevant news for the stocks
- In a regular meeting there are 2-3 pitches from different sub teams for new stocks/options for the portfolio
- Lastly there is a team wide vote whether to accept or reject the pitches and add them to our portfolio
